I want to do a little different for this blog post. Part of being an entrepreneur is to have an optimistic mentality.
One of the things I love to do on a daily basis to stay positive is to read inspirational quotes or better yet, keep it in front of you on your whiteboard or a piece of paper. It’s amazing how just a few words can be so powerful.

So, I’d like you to contribute and share your most inspirational quote that has helped you.
Not only will it inspire me, but also everyone reading this post.
I’ll start first. Here’s one of my favorite quotes and one you’ve probably heard of. This quote has always inspired me since the beginning to just take the first step:
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” — Confucius
As simple as it sounds, for most of us the first step is always the hardest. Once you take that first step, the rest will follow. You’ll gain that momentum as you take more and more steps.

I’ve got quite a few inspirational quotes on my hard drive, but one that has had an effect just recently is only 3 words and comes from a man called Art Williams. I watched the video on youtube and now I just repeat the words when i need to do something.
The 3 words – ‘Just Do It’
Want to get some links – Just do it
Want to build a website – Just do it
It doesn’t matter if what you do isn’t perfect – Just do it

I have too many favourite inspirational quotes to name just one. Each inspire me in different ways so I decided to use a quote on each page of my web site. My goal was to use a quote to convey the meaning behind each womens health and personal development article.
One of my favorites is:

It applies to everything but in this particular case, Barry’s son had autism and was written off by just about everyone as a child.
Now, Raun teaches all about autism and inspires everyone NOT to give up hope.

There’s too many to list, but here’s a couple persistance motivational sayings I’ve always liked. I calmly tell them to my kids whenever they get furstrated about something not working out exactly as planned…
One definiton of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over while expecting to get different results. If you don’t like the results you’re getting… let’s try doing something differently.
A loser is someone who gets it wrong and gives up (they end on a failure), a winner is someone who gets it wrong… learns from it… and tries something a little different the next time (eventually you will succeed)
