‘how do you actually make your money online?’

‘how do you figure out what people want?’

‘how do you get started with a business that actually
makes money?’

“Another Free Copy Please!”

One of the trickiest and perhaps elusive problem is finding out what your market wants and needs Before you have created a product, web site, list and you are starting out from scratch.

What are your strategies for gathering this information?

The biggest question is what is the best and easy way to get traffic for your product.

Now, I have a question. How many visitors do you get on your website on a daily basis?
How do you retain this kind of traffic?

Some great comments so far! I would like to learn more about turning existing PLR into a valued product by knowing how to find a niche market and then customize a broad PLR product into a tight niche so that a product can be targeted to that specific niche.

Maybe you could also cover how to turn an info product into audio and video to add more value and command a higher sales price.

Thanks!

I think creating it is the easy part-then comes the copy to sell it and then getting traffic to the site.

But to answer the question asked it is exactly which angle to take that would be most useful and appealing to my readers

I have the hardest time just getting started. I’m not sure what would
be a profitable topic. I have lots of plr that I would like to rewrite
and make an ebook out of, but I just start to feel overwhelmed with it
all.

Hi Aurelius,
Yes please send me my free copy of “Unstoppable Product Creation”
My most pressing question: Is it better to start selling an affilate product to test out the different marketing strategies before you create a product and embarass yourself because it is apparent you don’t know how to get it marketed?

Looking forward to more quality material from you, Aurelius. I’ve never been dissappointed yet by your products.

Cheers, Smiles and Laughs,

My concern is with integrating appropriate back-end, upsell, and affiliate products and service offers into the product and the purchasing process. The product should educate and create a demand for additional products and services that will enhance the user’s ability to benefit from the front-end product, without making him feel that he paid for a sales pitch or that he paid for an incomplete product.

I’ve reached the stage of being convinced of the need to create a product, now I need someone to sort the wood from the trees, cut out the hype and tell me in simple language how to do it.

I’ve found it most interesting to read the comments submitted by your readers and anticipate that I also will need help on many of the questions raised. I would hope therefore that you will publish replies in due course so we may all benefit from them.

I look forward to reading The Unstoppable Product Creation

Biggest problem is niche research and getting keyword suggestions. Overture doesn’t work, and other tools seem obscure to me.

Also very interested in knowing how not to be overwhelmed by the increasing demand/traffic issues (so that I would not be a slave of my own business)

My burning questions are how do I know when enough is enough? I find in creating information products — ebooks — that I’m not sure if I’m not giving enough information, or too much. And, how do I know if I’m really targeting the right market? Also, how do I know if my topic is one that will be interesting enough for someone to buy? I want prospective customers to consider my product true value, not fluff or simply a lead-in to purchase a more expensive product. That is such a turn-off to me!

Yes, Aurelius! Give me a free copy. My biggest product creation issue is the same that hampers me elsewhere as well, namely procrastination. Also, having so many ideas fighting for top billing in my mind has me dabbling in each for too short a time to get anywhere. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say about these, if addressed. Thanks.

Hi Aurelius

My biggest problem is knowing what product to create that will be something that everyone wants to buy and that everyone can benefit from.

We are constantly inundated with emails with outlandish claims that this is “it” exhorting us to spend our finite resources on this “must have” product. The majority fall for this spiel time and time again only to find it is a whole lot of BS and the only person who makes anything is the person pushing the product.

So, how can I convince potential purchasers to buy my product because it is worthwhile and useful and not just a gimmick to get them to fund my bank account.

Regards

Olwyn

I don’t have a website and don’t have a clue about setting one up. Where do you get ideas to create a lot of different info products? How do you get past the writer’s block when putting a lot of information together? I definitely need 101 help in getting going.

I often come up with potential product ideas but not too sure if they will be successful. Most ebooks cover the basic principles of checking out demand / popularity / number of keyword searches etc. but never quite give enough practical experience for others to follow – what works / what doesn’t / how best to test the market without spending a lot of money or effort.

My most pressing question is: “I have plenty of ideas but don’t feel I have the expertise on the subjects. I feel if the product isn’t of high quality, it won’t sell and if it does will have too many refunds.
Also Google Adwords scare me, I’ve heard it said that most new marketers loose money.
Would it be best to promote other products first?

Hi Aurelius,

The thing I struggle with is how to tell if the market will like your product, once you have made the product, site, done the copy etc

Yes we can all go to forums, check out keywords and overture for our product creation and niche research, but what you think to be a great product might not be the same as everybody else.

Also as has been mentioned above by a few others, if during your research you find a product already being sold which is similiar to what your product idea was, one which you was previously unaware that it was being sold, how do you know if their product is making sales, or if they have a big enough impact on the market to stop you being any kind of competition. So do you carry on with your product idea and turn it into a relaity or chalk it down as “already been done”

I hope this helps with your research.

Kind Regards,
Brian “not the list uncle, the other brian collins” Collins

Well Aurelius, the most pressing question is:

How do I write something MORE VALUABLE than the free content available online already?

You know the thing is, getting content from elsewhere and “throw it together” as a new product is easy, but HOW TO MAKE IT UNIQUE, VALUABLE and therefore SELL IT?

That’s it, my most pressing question after developing some products (some of them sell, most don’t :( )

I never give up ;)

hopefully I first learn to finish just my homepage then after that my problem i think is that I will give too much thought in trying to create something that no one has done before.I am the type who will get caught up in having to create something new..and before you know it weeks will go by..then months..
so my question I guess is how would you know which product or idea or subject is the right one at the right time?
