7 Day Traffic Blueprint To Drive Unstoppable Traffic To Your Site

by Aurelius Tjin on July 29, 2010 · 26 comments

If you’re just starting out online or an Internet marketer at all, one of the biggest obstacle is getting people to your website, i.e. – traffic. Most starters think that you have to pay to get traffic, like using pay-per-click. However, this isn’t true. Anyone can drive targeted traffic using this 7-day traffic blueprint I’m about to share.

website traffic

This is an easy-to-follow 7-day traffic blueprint which will generate UNSTOPPABLE traffic to any of your sites or offers. It works systematically so that you can maximize the use of your content, too.

I’m not going to explain what everything means. If you’re not quite sure about something, you can research it easily by using the one and only, Google.

Everything laid out in this blueprint uses free traffic methods which is great news for those who simply want to generate quick traffic without paying a cent. It will help build more backlinks and in turn, generate more traffic to your site.

You may or may not be able to implement everything in one day, depending on your skill level. But don’t panic…you can spread some of the tasks to other days if you like. These methods will give that boost of traffic you need.

So without further ado, here it is:

Day 1

  • Create these social media accounts if you haven’t already – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. You may also join other social media sites, it’s up to you, but these are the ones I use.
  • Customize your social media accounts by putting your photo, information, website, and so on.
  • Add 25-50 friends for each social media account who are interested in the same topic as you.
  • Update status to social media accounts with newsworthy and relevant content.

Day 2

  • Write 5-7 x 400 word articles based around your keywords. If you hate writing, like me, here’s a great tool I highly recommend you use to write articles quickly and easily – www.InstantArticleFactory.com. Note: you don’t have to write all the articles in one day. You may choose to write one article a day if you like.
  • Create a Blogger blog or WordPress blog and post one of the articles you just wrote to the blog. You’ll be adding a new blog post for the next few days. If you consistently focus on adding new content to your blog which are keyword-optimized, you’re going to attract search engine traffic.
  • Bookmark the new blog post using SocialMarker. From here on, “bookmark” means going to SocialMarker.com.
  • At the end of the day, add another 25-50 friends to your social media profiles.
  • Update status to social media accounts with newsworthy and relevant content.

Day 3

  • Create 5 videos using Animoto – www.animoto.com. Don’t worry – you don’t need to be a video expert, Animoto is really easy to use. Make sure to save the video to be uploaded on the next step.
  • Create a TubeMogul account and upload all 5 videos, making sure that you include your keywords in the title, description and video tags. You also want to make sure you include your site address in the description of your video.
  • Post another article to your blog.
  • Bookmark your videos and blog post.
  • Add another 25-50 friends for your social media accounts.
  • Update status to social media accounts with newsworthy and relevant content.

Day 4

  • Go to forums and blogs and approach 5 people who are willing to do link or email swaps or guest post to their blogs. Finding potential partners in forums or blogs is easy…simply search “niche + forum” or “niche + blog” in Google  (where niche = your niche, duh!).
  • Go to Yahoo Answers and find 1-2 open questions related to your topic and post an answer. Make sure to include your website as a place for the information. It’s important to note that your answers should be high quality, not just a simple response.
  • Post another article to your blog and bookmark.
  • Add another 25-50 friends to your social media accounts.
  • Update status to social media accounts with newsworthy and relevant content.

Day 5

  • Find 5-10 blogs related to your niche and make a genuine comment on their posts, making sure you include you URL in the website field.
  • “Spin” the articles you wrote from Day 2. By this I mean, rephrase/reword it. I use The Best Spinner to spin my articles.
  • Take all your spun articles and post it to EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com, making sure that you include your “resource box” with your website contained.
  • Post another article to your blog and bookmark.
  • Add another 25-50 friends to your social media accounts.
  • Update status to social media accounts with newsworthy and relevant content.

Day 6

  • Write a press release and post it to these sites -
  • Post another article to your blog and bookmark.
  • Add another 25-50 friends to your social media accounts.
  • Update status to social media accounts with newsworthy and relevant content.

Day 7

  • Submit your blog’s RSS feed to the following top rss aggregators -
  • Create a Squidoo Lens, making sure that your Lens name includes your keywords, example – www.squidoo.com/dogtraining or www.squidoo.com/dog-training. You can use the content you wrote from day 2, but make sure you rewrite it or spin it. Alternatively, you can also use PLR content, and also making sure you rewrite it to make it unique.
  • Repeat the same step as the Squidoo Lens creation, this time create a Hubpage.
  • Post another article to your blog and bookmark.
  • Add another 25-50 friends to your social media accounts.
  • Update status to social media accounts with newsworthy and relevant content.

So there you have it. A system you can use to drive traffic to any site.

From here, you can repeat the same cycle for any of your other sites. I would recommend you consistently keep posting on your blog, approaching website owners, and maintain your social media accounts to keep it growing.

After a while, I reached a point where time was an issue — I couldn’t do all this myself, considering I had projects to complete. So what I did was I outsourced these tasks. It can easily be done. You simply give them the content. You can use this blog post to show them what you need done. They can post your articles, blog, bookmark everything, etc. You may refer to this post on how to outsource your Internet business – http://aureliustjin.com/how-to-outsource-your-internet-marketing-business

I’d like to conclude by telling you that generating traffic isn’t hard. People are just overwhelmed from information overload and all the “magic pill” types of traffic products out there. Stick to this plan and I guarantee you’ll generate a ton of traffic — the kind of traffic that will last a long time.

If you found this post helpful or have any thoughts, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to comment in the comment box below.

Thanks. I must say this is a very good step by step guide. The only thing is the video making process using animoto…i don’t quite like the free version because animoto.com logo still appear. I hope it can let us use it for 30 sec without their logo…

Yea, that’s the only restriction unless you want to upgrade. I personally have an upgraded account. It doesn’t cost that much. You pay a low fee for a year’s worth of access to the pro account. It’s a great investment nonetheless.

Thanks Cyza, appreciate your comment.

Hi Aurelius,

So, I’m the first commenter? I would think that is because I’m from the land downunder – a different time zone – and nothing to do with your content lol.

It’s so refreshing to me to see “you guys” (read: gurus) actually getting down to brass tacks and telling it like it is…. you’ve got no idea how that gives credibility to you!

Keep up the excellent work, Aurelius…. I’ve bought many of your products and will continue to do so now you have disassociated yourself from the flock and proven that you are what Pinnochio wanted to be….. a real live boy (ok, let’s change that to man lol)

Hi Sharron.

LOL, you were almost the first commenter. Cyza beat you to it. Good to hear I have a kiwi subscriber :)

Yea, I realized that I haven’t been delivering as much free and valuable content in a while, and I noticed it’s affected my subscribers. So I’m here to gain their loyalty and let them know that I’m still alive and dedicated to helping them succeed.

I appreciate your comments and humour :) Made my day. Thanks!

Awesome content and I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for all the PLR products you have created and are also awesome.

Do you realize I paid $250 for a similar blueprint last year and you just gave it away – that is great for newbies and alike. You are one of the guru’s I highly recommend everyone should be following. By the way about paying for the blueprint that is my issue so don’t worry I don’t hold this against you. :) LOL!

I am huge believer in mindset affects everything including our online presence – you help me to be a believer in great things can happen online, from a business point of view.

Thanks Aurelius – keep up the great work!

Thanks a lot Carl! Your kind words are appreciated. I like hearing from my subscribers, and knowing that I delivered valuable content.

I’ll be writing up a new blog post similar to do, only this time it will be on product creation. So something like “7 Day Product Creation Action Plan”.

Glad you know the importance of mindset. Yes, readers like yourself make me believe in what I do even more…so thanks very much!

Gee.. that looks like a lot of work. But I think it might be worth a try. Thank You for another helpful post

Hi Harry. I broke it down into smaller steps to make it easier to take action on. It doesn’t have to be done in 7 days. You can spread it out in 10 days if you’d like. You may not want to do some of the traffic methods, that’s ok, but the more methods you utilize, the more traffic you’ll get.
